- 10 bids for the Design RFP are under review. Hooray!
- City of Somerville has not yet signed the lease from the MBTA. There is no rush, since the design process will happen anyway in the meantime.

Bike Lights for Fundraising
---------------------------
We voted to order 40 front bike lights at a low cost. We will sell the lights at upcoming events to raise funds. Joel will order the lights, and we will put a "Friends of the Community Path" label on each box. Bikes need front lights at night by law in most states!

Community Meetings
------------------
On 3/11 There will be a small community meeting At a supporter's house.

Event w/MVTF?
------------
We discussed doing an event with the Mystic View Task Force to educate people (esp. non-motorized commuters) about local paths in-the-works. We'd like to also involve other relevant groups(e.g., Somerville Bicycle Committee, MassBike, and the Somerville Health Agenda). Joel suggested organizing healthy snack donations there from local restaurants, with the Somerville Health Agenda. We'll see.

Brochure
--------
Turil and Lynn are finalizing the updated brochure, which will be more generic. Lynn is drafting a smaller brochure insert which will be periodically updated to describe our progress.

Upcoming Events
---------------
- 1st week in April: Cambridge Bike Light Giveaway (talk to Bryce about doing surveys)
- May 3 and 4: Somerville Open Studios
- May, date TBA: Bike to Work Week. 1st activity is "safety in Commuting," then go to Path to view Groundworks plantings, etc. Contact Turil at "turtle at zworg.com".

Action Items

- Turil seeks volunteers to help with Bike to Work activity. Contact Turil at turtle@zworg.com.

- Lynn will e-mail out a Support Letter template to tonight's meeting participants.

- Joel will e-mail out a list of organizations that we have support letters from and other ones that we want to get.

- Joel will order 40 bike lights.
