About this website:
Five projects are represented on this website, the Somerville Community Path (In Somerville and Cambridge, extending the Minuteman Bikeway to Downtown Boston Massachusetts), the path network along Alewife Brook (on the border between Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford and Belmont), the Watertown Branch extending the Minuteman to the Charles River the Fitchburg Cutoff to Belmont, and paths in the lower Mystic River Basin extending the Boston Harborwalk.
These projects are all complimentary to each other. We feel that a linked network of paths creates tremendous recreational and commuting opportunities for the community. Our interstate highways connect to each other, so should our pedestrian and bicycle ways. Click on the map for more information!
